apPIERierances in Lititz, PA is looking for hairstylists to join our team. We're a relaxed, family friendly salon providing salon services to men, women & children 6 days/week. We're located at 2 Sturgis Ln. Look us up on social media (TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, Google,).

Responsibilities

  • Provide full salon services such as Haircuts, Coloring, Perms, Smoothing and Styling, Permanent Hair Straightening.
  • Answer the phone / schedule / re-schedule / adjust services when needed
  • Help maintain cleanliness of salon and your station
  • Advise and recommend services and products based on hair care needs
  • Follow the client journey format
  • Keep abreast of new styles, techniques & professional products for retail
  • Participate with marketing & advertising to walk-by traffic & through social media
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bring book of clients equivalent to 20hr services /wk or more
  • Current PA cosmetology license
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Familiarity with salon scheduling software
  • Familiarity with social media - facebook, instagram, nextdoor etc (make posts on your personal page, join groups)

Wage Range

  • Week 1: $15/hr (up to 5hr)- 1st week orientation & demonstration of skills ||
  • Month 1-4: $15/hr + tips + retail* commission OR payment** if more than 15hr/week of client services provided (whichever is more to you) + tips + retail* commission ||
  • Month 5 & onwards: You must consistently provide a minimum 20hr/week client services || payment** + tips + retail* commission || create your own schedule
  • *Sliding scale retail commission associated with products sold thru e-commerce
  • Payment** is calculated as ($15/hr + commission ) for services provided & increases as your client services increases - reviewed routinely
  • Sliding scale commission associated with products sold thru e-commerce
  • Keep your chair occupancy at 80% or higher. Potentially consider having an assistant to help with the shampooing, sweeping, chart updates, once you're maintaining at least 30hr/week client services.
