Scientific Communications Manager to be responsible for managing the strategic planning and execution of scientific and marketing communications tactics, including medical communications initiatives, and scientific training materials, and other brand communications. This individual provides oversight and assistance to internal partners and external vendors that is medically and scientifically accurate, and of high editorial quality. This individual is responsible for developing content for, and planning activities related to, the Scientific communications plans for assigned projects.

Primary Responsibilities: - Work closely with the marketing team to develop and execute an integrated communications strategy for both internal and external audiences across channels.
- Regularly update educational collateral, perform literature research, and create and maintain a literature library.
- Lead definition and approval of key scientific messages including maintaining the claims matrix.
- Responsible for competitive landscape monitoring and synthesis.
- Organize and lead meetings of cross-functional publications planning and review teams.
- Responsible for ensuring scientific accuracy in scientific communications
- Participate in cross-functional team and interdepartmental projects by providing medical writing, editorial, and research support on an individual project basis.
- Collaborate across all departments to efficiently communicate recent technical achievements and improve the quality and clarity of data visualization and technical storytelling.
- Create high-quality written, visual and hybrid deliverables that effectively communicate complex technical concepts for the appropriate technical or non-technical audiences – including white papers, posters, slide decks, investor materials, FAQ, press releases, and more.
- Responsible for collaborating with internal partners on conference strategy, scientific content development, and support for cross-functional teams.
- Collaborate effectively to plan and execute key scientific meetings and conferences. Structure Anteris specific events with a scientific agenda.
- Travel up to 40-50% may be required.
Required Skills, Knowledge, Experience & Qualifications: - PhD, MD or other recognized doctorate-level education with supporting applicable health science background.
- 5-8 years of relevant work experience in the medical technology industry, with a strong medical or scientific background.
Preferred Skills, Knowledge, Experience & Qualifications: - Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to build credibility and trust inside and outside the company.
- Previous product launch experience strongly preferred.
- Science and data driven while at the same time, creative and flexible in strategic thinking and problem solving.
- Strong writing skills as related to scientific communications and medical education.
- Demonstrated ability to stay on top of trends and new information in the industry.
- Ability to manage both day-to-day operations as well as project work in fast-paced environment.
- Ability to multi-task and adjust priorities as necessary.
- Proven ability to work in a team environment.
- Must be self-motivated and able to work autonomously.
- Excellent written / verbal communication and presentation skills.
