Overview The Risk division is responsible throughout the Group for management and control of all credit, market and operational risks, and the function of the Risk division consist in managing, reinforcing, and protecting the Bank's capital, integrity and reputation by making a solid structure and supportive infrastructure available.
Real Money Funds (RMF) Credit Risk is an independent credit approval and monitoring function within Deutsche Bank for Mutual Fund counterparties. The RMF Credit Team is a specialized credit team within Risk which covers a diverse portfolio of low-risk funds, including Complex funds such as Absolute Return, Liquid Alt and Risk Premia funds in conjunction with global RMF Credit team.
As a RMF Credit officer, you will be required to oversee the workflow of RMF counterparties including the preparation of annual credit and rating reviews, counterparty maintenance and administrative tasks, in a timely manner with the assistance of RMF Credit Officers globally. You will need to follow the credit standards and approved credit processes of Deutsche Bank which also comprises working with respective business, credit and other infrastructure functions to ensure data quality and internal policy standards and you will participate in detailed discussions & build relationships within defined functions and communicate with stakeholders on multiple levels of the organization.

What You'll Do - Team management with responsibility for development of staff (including training and mentoring) and act as central coordinator across teams/stakeholders maintain oversight of all tasks to be managed by the RMF Team according the book of work, Key Performance Indicator (KPIs) and relevant guidelines as well as output quality
- Oversee the day-to-date activities of the RMF team globally, provide strong leadership, guidance and expertise, and serve as a liaison to the global RMF Credit team
- Take ownership of portfolios (Appetite determination, risk evaluation, reviews), audit/regulators requests or inquiries, recurring issues, and able to find solutions as well as workflow improvements
- Regular attendance at scheduled meetings, telephone conferences (e.g. presentations of work results to decision-makers/workgroups/senior management) as well as client due diligence calls or meetings
- Use expert judgement to determine appropriate legal documentation and collateral terms, with the Firm's policy standard and risk appetite and Lead management of complex transactions, articulating the credit viewpoint to senior management and committees as appropriate
- Work with Collateral Management to resolve any margin/collateral issues in a timely manner and updating/escalating to credit officers which is essential in managing the large RMF portfolio
Skills You'll Need - Relevant University degree (Economics, Finance, Business Administration) or local equivalent
- Moderate relevant work experience required (preferably in finance and in Credit Risk)
- Excellent verbal and written English language skills
- Very good Microsoft Office skills
- Very good understanding of concept of Credit Risk required
Skills That Will Help You Excel - Excellent communication skills with ability to facilitate targeted communication between the variety of stakeholder and across all levels of the organization (incl. senior management) and across multiple divisions
- Analytical mind with ability to understand and overlook broader picture and end-to-end processes, identify dependencies and potential road blocks
- Excellent ability to work with both, a high degree of independence and as part of a team
- Able to cope well under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Good eye for detail, numerically literate
Expectations It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Jacksonville, FL office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in Jacksonville is $78,000 to $111,800. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of renumeration.
