Job Description

Northwest Partner s is partnering with a premier client in the technology industry to hire an experienced full-time Project Manager . This role focuses on overseeing high-value systems projects within the Parking Division. The successful candidate will manage a portfolio of projects, ensuring effective planning, execution, and delivery while balancing leadership over teams and vendors with agile, hands-on project execution. This position requires a strong customer-centric approach, excellent communication skills, and extensive experience in systems project management. It also involves over 60% travel across North America and Europe.

What YOU will do:
  • Oversee Project Lifecycle : Lead planning, execution, and delivery for multiple complex projects using formal project management methodologies to ensure timely completion within budget.
  • Develop & Maintain Documentation : Create and maintain project schedules, scope statements, resource plans, risk and issue logs, and formal communications such as contracts and change orders.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally : Coordinate with installation and service teams to promote superior performance, facilitate training, and uphold policies. Engage in resource estimation and planning for project milestones.
  • Control Financials : Establish and monitor project budgets, forecast requirements, analyze variances, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Ensure Client & Stakeholder Satisfaction : Proactively manage project expectations through regular updates and active communication with internal and external stakeholders to maintain a unified approach.
  • Develop Teamwork : Work closely with cross-functional teams to foster a collaborative environment and ensure all team members understand their roles within the overall project.
  • Manage Escalations : Act swiftly to resolve issues and minimize project risks, keeping clients and leadership updated on progress and developments.
  • Uphold Project Methodology : Apply the client's project management standards to ensure discipline and quality throughout project phases.
  • Promote Safety : Ensure a safe and healthy work environment in compliance with organizational and legal regulations.
What YOU will bring us:
  • Educational Background : Bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science preferred, or an equivalent combination of technical education, certifications, and experience.
  • Experience : 5-10 years in systems project management, with experience handling hardware and software projects valued between $300k - $500k.
  • Project Management Skills : Expertise in project planning, resource estimation, risk management, and progress tracking. Familiarity with project management certification (preferred).
  • Leadership & Communication : Proven ability to motivate teams, lead with confidence, handle complex customer relationships, and manage competing demands.
  • Customer Focus : Strong commitment to customer satisfaction, with a proactive approach to understanding and addressing client needs.
  • Problem-Solving & Adaptability : Strong analytical skills with the ability to adapt to evolving project requirements and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Travel Ability : Willingness to travel over 60%, domestically and internationally. Must possess a valid driver's license.
