Job Description

Job Summary:

Our client is a rapidly growing medical practice dedicated to delivering high-quality care to their community. Located in a picturesque town outside of Asheville, they strive to create a supportive and collaborative environment for their team and the patients they serve. They are seeking a dynamic and experienced Physician to lead, support, and enhance their clinical team as they continue to expand. The ideal candidate will provide expert care to patients suffering from acute, chronic, and complex pain conditions. You will develop individualized treatment plans to improve patients' quality of life, utilizing a combination of interventional, pharmacological, and holistic approaches.

This is an opportunity to join a well-established, rapidly growing practice with almost a full patient panel where the right individual could grow into a potential owner. Located in one of the fastest growing metropolitans in America, the avid hiker, art enthusiast or family focused physician would be well suited for this location.

Key Responsibilities:

Patient Care:

  • Evaluate patients with acute and chronic pain to determine the underlying cause and develop tailored treatment plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, including medical history reviews, physical examinations, and diagnostic testing.
  • Prescribe medications and treatments while adhering to state and federal guidelines.

Interventional Procedures:

  • Perform minimally invasive pain management procedures such as epidural injections, nerve blocks, spinal cord stimulation, radiofrequency ablation, and joint injections.
  • Utilize imaging technologies (e.g., ultrasound or fluoroscopy) to guide procedures when necessary.

Multidisciplinary Collaboration:

  • Work closely with other healthcare providers to ensure a comprehensive approach to pain management.
  • Participate in case discussions and contribute to the clinic's collaborative care model.

Education and Counseling:

  • Educate patients and their families about pain management strategies, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications.
  • Promote non-pharmacological interventions, such as physical therapy, exercise, and mindfulness practices.

Compliance and Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate, thorough, and timely medical records in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure adherence to clinic protocols, state regulations, and ethical standards in pain management practices.

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Board certification/eligibility in Pain Management
  • Active medical license to practice.
  • Experience in pain management procedures is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Commitment to patient-centered care and a multidisciplinary approach to treatment.

Why Join Us?

  • Collaborative, patient-focused environment.
  • Access to state-of-the-art facilities and technologies.
  • Opportunities for professional development and continuing education.
  • Competitive salary and benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and CME allowances.

Company Benefits:

  • Competitive salary and benefits package.
  • Opportunity for growth and ownership.
  • Opportunity to work with a forward-thinking team in a growing practice.
  • Supportive work environment with a focus on professional development.
  • Enjoy a high quality of life in Asheville NC, with its beautiful scenery, outdoor activities, and vibrant community.
