Medical Records Coder Opportunity (On-Site Position)

This opportunity is full-time, Monday thu Friday, 40 hours per week. This position is primarily responsible for coding of services to ensure accurate billing and correct reimbursement for services. Assists in assuring that records are kept confidential, secure, current, authenticated, legible, and complete.

The Meadows Psychiatric Center is the leading behavioral health treatment facility in Central Pennsylvania. We are located a short distance outside State College, PA. Requirements:

• A minimum of an Associate's Degree or equivalent in related field. Applicable work experience may be considered in lieu of Associate's Degree
• RHIA or RHIT preferred and is required within eighteen months of hire
• One (1) year of coding experience preferred
• Experience with ICD-10-CM Coding rules and regulations
