Position Overview
SafeGrain is seeking a motivated Entry-Level Electrical Engineer to join our team. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic industry while supporting the development and maintenance of electrical systems and components used in grain storage and handling equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and support of electronic sensors and control systems in our grain monitoring products.
- Collaborate with senior engineer on new product projects involving circuit design, programming, and mechanical product design.
- Support the development of electronic schematics, PCB layout, prototypes, wiring diagrams, and end-user documentation.
- Contribute to development of manufacturing processes that ensure quality control.
- Provide manufacturing assistance and support to other employees as needed.
- Ensure compliance with relevant safety and industry standards in all engineering processes.
- Participate in the installation and commissioning of equipment at customer sites, under supervision.
- Support of legacy products including customer technical support via phone and onsite visits
- Document technical work and provide feedback to engineering teams to improve system efficiency and safety and enhance product reliability and performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD software for mechanical design is a plus.
- Some PC software and firmware coding experience with VB.Net, C#, Python, Arduino
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work well in a team.
- Ability to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel to support on-site installations and troubleshooting.
