Concrete Estimator-Residential Construction
One of the top Concrete Contractors in Maryland is seeking an Estimator that is well versed in Concrete Projects in the Residential Construction space. Throughout the years they have perfected their service and company culture producing many long tenured employees (30+ years) and repeat clients! Concrete Estimator Responsibilities:
* Perform accurate quantity take-offs
* Utilize Conceptual Design and Value Engineering as needed
* Write up and present budgets, reports, and project plans
* Developing and managing estimates on multiple, simultaneous projects
* Build relationships with clients, owners, field personnel, and design teams, while working toward successful completion of projects
Concrete Estimator Qualifications:
* Must possess a working knowledge of Construction Estimating documentation and pricing; able to read plans and specifications and translate them into estimates, Residential Construction and Concrete Foundation methods is highly preferred
* Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)
* 3+ years of experience estimating Construction projects is required, at least 1 year estimating Residential Concrete projects is required
* Experience estimating Foundation, Excavation, Sidewalks, Patios, Porches, Retaining Walls, Flooring, Footings and Concrete Wall work is highly preferred
* Needs full comprehension of drawings
* Proficient with computers, tablets and smartphones, including typing skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Experience with RFIs and Change orders
