The Department of Pediatrics, Division of Pediatric Cardiology at Michigan Medicine and C.S. Mott Children's Hospital is seeking a board eligible/certified physician in Pediatrics/Pediatric Cardiology to join the Michigan Congenital Heart Center. We are recruiting a full-time Clinical Instructor of Pediatric Cardiology for 4 th year advanced training. Clinical specialization may vary, including, but not limited to:  heart failure/transplant, non-invasive imaging, electrophysiology, interventional cardiac catheterization and/or pediatric cardiac intensive care.

The ideal candidate should have an M.D./D.O. degree or UMHS approved international equivalent, postgraduate clinical training, be Board eligible/board certified in Pediatrics/Pediatrics Cardiology and have experience in the area of Pediatric Cardiology. Successful candidate will hold or have the ability to obtain the appropriate medical licenses in the State of Michigan. The candidate must have the excellent clinical skills and knowledge base needed to work independently. 

The University of Michigan Congenital Heart Center is a high-acuity, high volume program that includes more than 50 cardiologists, 5 congenital heart surgeons, 18 categorical fellows and an active Advanced Practitioner team. We serve patients at 14 outpatient clinic locations across the state of Michigan and Northern Ohio. Our culture is one of collaboration and collegiality, in which teamwork is prioritized. Teaching ability is highly valued at our center. In addition, preference will be given to a candidate who has demonstrated research experience and productivity.

As an international referral center for children with complex congenital heart disease, the Congenital Heart Center at University of Michigan Health C.S. Mott Children's Hospital is one of the largest and most experienced pediatric heart programs in the United States.
