Position: Experienced Bookkeeper (Remote)

We are a remote business management firm specializing in bookkeeping and accounting support for small businesses. We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented individual who is passionate about delivering high-quality service and making meaningful contributions each day.

As our ideal candidate, you bring a wealth of experience in bookkeeping, a keen eye for identifying issues, and the ability to resolve them effectively. You're organized, proactive, and able to juggle multiple tasks while maintaining a high standard of work. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and performing various accounting tasks with a focus on professionalism, accuracy, and timeliness.

### Key Responsibilities:

- QuickBooks Expertise: Proficient with QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop.
- Accounts Payable/Receivable: Comprehensive knowledge and management of AP/AR processes.
- Financial Reporting: Review and understand financial reports, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve discrepancies in income/expense accounts.
- Tax Filings: Prepare and file Sales & Use, Property, and City/County Annual Taxes.
- Payroll Management: Handle payroll processing and ensure timely payroll tax payments.
- Team Collaboration: Work effectively with the team while maintaining a high degree of organization and accuracy.
- Time Management: Excellent at managing deadlines and priorities.

### Qualifications:

- Experience with QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop.
- Strong understanding of financial reports, AP/AR, and tax filings.
- Ability to resolve discrepancies and maintain clean financial records.
- Prior experience in payroll management is a plus.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently.

### Compensation and Benefits:

This role will begin as a part-time position with the opportunity to transition to full-time after the assessment period, as you become fully independent in your role. While your experience will be considered, we prioritize high standards and are looking for individuals who are ready to contribute at the highest level.
