Brook Farm Veterinary Center is hiring a part-time Veterinary Technician or Experienced Veterinary Assistant  to join our team.

The pay range for this position is commensurate with experience and ranges from $18.75 to $24/hr. 

As a Veterinary Technician, you will be responsible for providing nursing care to patients through compliance with the attending doctor’s orders. On a daily basis, you will educate clients, triage patients, calculate medical dosages and administer medications, run in-house lab work, place tubes and catheters, monitor and ensure your patients’ comfort, update clients on their pet’s progress, and perform a variety of other tasks. This requires solid technical skills and your commitment to providing patients and clients with the highest standard of care. Flexibility with scheduling and a team-player mentality are crucial in our fast-paced environment.

Desired Qualifications

• AA degree or BA/BS degree from AVMA-accredited veterinary technician program. 
• Veterinary Technician license in good standing.
• Any suitable combination of experience or education may substitute for the above at our discretion.
