Basic Qualifications:
Our mission is to advance health equity and eliminate racial disparities in PAD care and we strongly believe that who we care for does not define how we care for our patients. The UTHSC vascular surgery team also supports all of the vascular care, including vascular trauma, at Le Bonheur Children's Hospital and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Annually, between ROH and Le Bonheur, we treat ~ 200 pediatric patients for vascular conditions.
Opportunity:
UTHSC and Regional One offer the candidate opportunities for personal and professional growth in a supportive and collaborative workplace environment. Opportunities exist for participation in both clinical and bench research, clinical trials, national vascular trauma database outcomes research, and surgical education research depending on the interests of the candidate. The Division of Vascular Surgery, home to one of the oldest ACGME-accredited vascular
surgical fellowship programs in the nation, supports the mentorship and training of UTHSC vascular surgical fellows, general surgical residents, and medical students. We also have an established visiting vascular surgical resident program.
