  • Document comprehensive functional and technical requirements to guide the development process.
  • Draft and execute User Acceptance Test (UAT) plans to validate the final product against business and functional requirements.
  • Work closely with the development team to ensure seamless implementation of designs and that final products meet specifications.
  • Develop visually appealing, intuitive user interfaces that align with brand guidelines and meet accessibility standards (Section 508).
  • Continuously iterate and refine designs based on feedback from cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Communicate design concepts effectively and advocate for component reusability and design system consistency across projects.
  • Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, design system best practices, and emerging technologies.
Requirements:

  • Experience in building component-based UI design systems and reusable components.
  • Strong understanding of user interface design principles, style guide development, and best practices.
  • Experience with requirements gathering, documentation, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Ability to create consistent and visually cohesive designs across different platforms.
  • Understanding of Section 508 UI accessibility standards.
