Department Information

The Department of Sociology and Anthropology in the College of Behavioral and Social Sciences offers both undergraduate and graduate degrees in their respective fields. Courses help students develop theoretical, methodological, and critical thinking skills.

Job Summary

Reporting to the department chair, part time instructors will teach up to 6 hours (two courses) of online lower-level Anthropology classes which include ANTH 1102 Introduction to Anthropology and/or ANTH 1150, Global Perspectives in Anthropology: People of the World, in Spring 2025. The position is a one semester appointment.

Required Qualifications

Earned master's degree with at least 18 graduate semester hours in Anthropology at the time of appointment.

Proposed Salary

Commensurate with experience.

This is an exempt position paid on a monthly basis.
