Cloud Engineer Intern
Professional role in the activities of the Cloud DevSecOps team. Incumbent will strive to follow all team standards/best practices while they work in/on cloud, CI/CD, programming, and automation. Will gain a foundational understanding of Webster Bank's cloud architecture. Ensures all work is completed to standards and on-time. Will learn, implement and maintain DevSecOps tooling, cloud infrastructure and cloud controls.
Build and maintain public cloud controls (AWS/Azure) through Infrastructure as Code and automation.
Build and maintain public cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) through Infrastructure as Code and automation.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automation.
Provides support to Information Technology teams that utilize public cloud.
Location: Southington, CT

Education, Skills, and Experience Requirements for Interns:
Current undergraduate rising Junior or Senior enrolled in an accredited college or university who is pursuing a degree in related field and has an interest in the banking/financial services industry
Resourceful, enthusiastic, and proactive
Highly organized
Demonstrated strong attention to detail
Experience creating and delivering presentations
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
Ability to learn quickly and solve problems

The estimated salary range for this position is $20.00/hr. to $22.00/hr. Actual salary may vary up or down depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position is eligible for incentive compensation.
