Job Description

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our client's accounting team. This position is responsible for assisting with the preparation of financial statements, maintaining accurate financial records, performing reconciliations, and supporting overall financial operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and be eager to learn and grow in a professional environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reports.
Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes.
Maintain and update the general ledger and supporting schedules.
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions as needed.
Help assist with audits.
Reconcile bank and credit card statements.
Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
Collaborate with other departments to gather financial data and resolve discrepancies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
1–3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience (internships included).
Solid understanding of GAAP and basic accounting principles.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP).
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
