Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Conduct literature reviews, data compilation and structuring of project assets including satellite imagery archives, environmental disaster databases, and reports concerning social recovery and environmental change in the Asia/Pacific Region.
Assist in analysis of relational databases include advanced querying. Knowledge of Excel required; GIS tools and one or more social statistical packages (SPSS, R, etc.) highly desirable.
Collaborate with senior staff and members of the REACT-APAC team to draft reports, correspondence, documents, policy briefs, notes, and other web content, report periodic findings, and provide outreach support. Provide other research support, writing and editing for various reports and documents.
Manage project documents and files.
Perform duties requiring independent judgment and analysis related to data gathering, report preparation, and special projects.
Perform other duties as assigned.

The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
