Your Role: The First Impression Matters

As a Medical Receptionist , you’ll play a vital role in ensuring smooth and efficient office operations while providing an exceptional patient experience. You’ll be the first point of contact for our patients, handling a variety of responsibilities that require a professional, courteous, and organized approach.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and Welcome Patients : Create a warm and friendly atmosphere for everyone who walks through our doors.
• Manage Check-ins : Verify and update patient information in our electronic medical system, and collect co-payments with ease.
• Scheduling & Appointments : Help patients schedule their next appointments during check-out, maintaining an organized and efficient schedule.
• Answer Calls and Provide Support : Handle incoming phone calls with professionalism, take messages, and provide accurate information based on office protocol.
• Process Payments : Collect payments and ensure proper cash reconciliation with meticulous attention to detail.
• Clerical Assistance : Provide administrative support as needed, ensuring the office runs smoothly and efficiently.
• Closeout Procedures : At the end of the day, assist with coding, batching, billing, and processing hospital visit records.
• Deliver Outstanding Customer Service : Every patient interaction is an opportunity to provide helpful, compassionate care.

What We're Looking For:

• Integrity and Professionalism : You’re reliable, honest, and can handle sensitive patient information with the highest level of confidentiality.
• Tech-Savvy : Comfortable with Microsoft Word, Excel , and navigating electronic medical systems.
• Exceptional Communication Skills : Whether speaking, writing, or listening, you’re a strong communicator who values clarity and efficiency.
• Insurance Knowledge : You’re familiar with the ins and outs of insurance rules and regulations.
• Detail-Oriented : Your attention to detail helps you ensure smooth daily operations and accurate record-keeping.
• Customer-Focused : You have a natural ability to provide outstanding service to every patient, ensuring they feel valued and respected.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a medical office or receptionist role is a plus but not required!
