Position Overview

We are seeking Lead Teachers and Assistant Teachers who are enthusiastic about early childhood education and creating a positive learning environment for children. In these roles, you will ensure the safety, development, and well-being of children while fostering positive relationships with parents and staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet each child by name and acknowledge parents during drop-off and pick-up times daily.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of every child in your care.
• Maintain confidentiality of school directives, curriculum, and software.
• Read, understand, and implement all policies and procedures of the center and comply with state licensing regulations.
• Maintain professional and positive relationships with parents and coworkers.
• Inform the Director or Assistant Director of any supplies needed for the upcoming months.
• Follow established standards for the conduct and responsibilities of all staff members who interact with children.

Lead Teacher Qualifications

• BS or BA degree in Elementary Education, Early Childhood Education, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Minimum of 1 year of professional experience working with young children.
• Strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and basic computer literacy.
• Eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Assistant Teacher Qualifications

• 60 credit hours, including at least 6 in Early Childhood Education (ECE), or a CDA (Child Development Associate credential).
• Minimum of 1 year of professional experience working with young children.
• Strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and basic computer literacy.
• Eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Desired Skills and Experience for Both Roles:

• Passionate about working with children and having a loving, nurturing personality.
• Ability to effectively communicate with parents, staff, and children.
• A team player with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to implement developmentally appropriate practices in the classroom.
