Position: LatAm Accessories Designer
Type of contract: Independent Contractor
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm EST
Salary Range: $1.500 - $2.000 USD monthly

About the Role
As an Accessories Designer, you will play a key role in the development of new accessory collections and concepts. You will work closely with our team to create designs that resonate with our target audience, manage communications with factories, and prepare compelling presentations for internal stakeholders and clients.

Duties and responsibilities:

Design Creation:

• Develop original accessory designs, including bags, belts, and other fashion accessories, in line with brand identity and seasonal trends.
• Create mood boards, color palettes, and textile selections to suppor design concepts.

Communication with Factories:

• Collaborate with manufacturers and suppliers to ensure accurate execution of designs.
• Communicate technical specifications, materials, and production requirements effectively.
• Address and resolve any issues related to production timelines, quality, or materials.

Presentation Development:

• Prepare and deliver engaging presentations showcasing design concepts, collections, and strategies.
• Utilize visuals and Adobe Suite tools to enhance presentations and provide a clear vision of designs.

Trend Research and Analysis:

• Conduct market research to identify current and upcoming trends in the accessories market.
• Analyze competitor products and consumer preferences to inform design direction.
  

Collaboration:

• Work closely with the internal teams to provide necessary information for purchase orders to be placed, and communicate any type of product detail to ensure the flawless production execution.
• Provide design input for promotional materials and visual merchandising as needed.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Accessories Designer or similar role.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
• Strong portfolio showcasing previous accessory designs and collections.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. English proficiency.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Deep understanding of fashion trends, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Strong attention to detail with an ability to adapt to feedback and make iterative changes.
