Responsibilities:

The Junior Software Engineer in Test will work with our software development teams to create and execute test plans, write and maintain test cases, perform manual testing, and explore new ways to improve our test coverage and quality.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Design, create, and execute test plans, test cases for our software applications.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams which includes product managers, developers, and designers in an Agile/SCRUM development environment.
• Learn the features and functions of the OnlineBanking and associated systems such as the core banking system.
• Ensure code quality, coverage, compatibility, and performance through manual and automated testing.
• Perform exploratory testing to identify issues with our software to help ensure we are meeting customer needs.
• Automate tests using test frameworks, tools and working within the team to integrate tests into the development processes.
• Identify, report, and track defects to ensure their timely resolution.
• Document test processes, maintain best practices, and improve the testing processes in the organization.
• Leverage exsting tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub, Postman etc. to maintain manual and automated test cases.
SKILLS
• Experience in organized strategies for the verification or review of complex software systems, potentially using organized test plans and test cases
• Experience or Familiarity with some type of programming, scripting, or macro language or tool
• Basic understanding of the software development lifecycle, programming concepts, related programming tools and techniques

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing
• Visually able to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data and figures, viewing a computer terminal, and extensive reading
• Ability to sit for extended time periods
• Sufficient manual skill for operation of PC keyboard and other standard office equipment
• Ability to travel, including occasional overnight travel
• Ability to exert minimum amounts of force occasionally to lift, carry, push, pull or move objects

Education Level: General and business knowledge equivalent to a bachelor's degree The minimum salary for this position is: $56,000 Compensation Overview:
