About the role

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Junior Graphic Designer to join our growing marketing team. This exciting opportunity will support our Creative Director in ensuring all departments have assets that represent the brand to a tee, evoke emotion, and move their intended audiences into action.

If you're a graphic designer who has an excellent creative eye, is adaptable to various brand styles, is able to execute at a fast pace, enjoys taking initiative, thrives in a collaborative environment and loves delivering exciting visual experiences, this job is for you. This position is perfect for someone with a strong sense of style, a great portfolio, and a passion for trendy, eye-catching designs.

The ability to quickly understand and embed brand visual identity, graphic systems, and distinctive assets into all of the work is a must!

Responsibilities and Duties:

As junior graphic designer, you'll be responsible for delivering effective, aesthetic, and on-strategy creative graphics for the social media, website, email marketing, PR initiatives, digital ads, sales decks, mockups, in-store deliverables, packaging materials and more, as well as the curation, organization and delivery of current graphic assets.

Design a variety of marketing materials, with a focus on social media content, digital and print materials and refining assets to meet objectives.

Create social media content as needed, including static images, GIFS & video; collaborate with team to execute against SM calendar and campaigns

Create style guides and pitch decks to inspire and excite internal and external partners.

Conceptualize new ways to visualize content & deliver effective and delightful brand experiences that drive sales, increase engagement, build community and more.

  • Collaborate with the Graphic Designer and Brand Director to ensure consistency across designs and meet project objectives.
  • Update and refine print and packaging assets while following established guidelines.
  • Create digital mockups to support sales, marketing, and internal initiatives.
  • Update and manage existing materials to new, current designs
  • Maintain library of graphic assets for team use
  • Work on small motion graphic projects to elevate digital content.
  • Stay updated on design trends to bring fresh ideas to the team.
  • Liaise with both internal and external creative teams to deliver necessary assets
  • Maintain brand feel and voice across all assets

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in graphic design working within various mediums, including digital and print, preferably in CPG, beauty or lifestyle brands.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing trendy and tasteful, eye-catching design work.
  • Highly Proficient in Canva and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign)
  • Based in the Atlanta area, with an ability to be onsite at least 2 days a week
  • Passion for trends and visual storytelling
  • Experience, interest in or aptitude for light copywriting a major plus***
  • Motion graphic aptitude (i.e. After Effects) a major plus
  • Creative, fast-learner, enthusiastic, adaptable & works well within teams
  • Strong understanding of branding, marketing, advertising, packaging, digital
  • Ability to adapt to brand feel and identity within your design execution
  • A strong understanding of character and story and the ability to evoke them through graphics
  • Strong sense of visual style — photography, design, typography, graphics, etc.
  • Ability to thrive in a challenging and constantly changing working landscape.
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • A passionate go-getter who loves working with small, energetic and creative teams
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally, visually and in writing
