Under the general direction of the Application Development and Support Manager, an IT Manager I, the IT Specialist II (Senior Application Specialist) is an expert technical resource responsible for the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of the Authority’s Commercial-off-the-Shelf (COTS), Software as a Service (SaaS) and Custom applications with primary responsibility for Geographic Information System (GIS) Applications. The incumbent ensures adequate documentation for ongoing maintenance and support of all IT applications; provides innovative desktop and mobile ready geospatial web mapping solutions to the Authority, its contractors, and other agency stakeholders; assists with Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliance issues; ensures applications are optimized; and integrates GIS information with other Authority applications and solutions. The Senior Application Specialist also provides support on variety of complex IT applications/systems.

2. Please describe and provide examples of your experience with the following GIS related applications and technologies, including where and when you had the experience:
• ArcGIS Pro
• ArcGIS Online
• ArcGIS Web AppBuilder
• Scripting languages (Python and ArcPy)
• FME Desktop model and FME server
• Mobile ready geospatial solutions
3. Please describe and provide examples of your experience integrating a .NET/Java application with ArcGIS services. Include the steps you consider in developing the integration tool using best practices and industry standards.
4. Please describe an example of a new or modified solution you developed and implemented. Include:
• Your interactions with the customer and end users
• The steps you took to define the business need, determine the technical solution, and implement the solution.
• Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) deliverables created.
• Issues or problems encountered and how they were resolved.
