We are seeking a dynamic
Human Resources Coordinator/ Technical Engineering Recruiter to join our team. This role will focus on sourcing and onboarding highly qualified technical engineers for the pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturing industry. The responsibilities include managing employee relations and overseeing benefits administration to support organizational goals, enhancing employee satisfaction, and ensuring compliance with HR policies and regulations. Key Responsibilities: Benefits Administration - Daily Tasks:
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding health benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and wellness programs.
- Coordinate with insurance providers to resolve claims, coverage, or eligibility issues.
- Maintain accurate records of employee benefits enrollment and updates in HR systems.
- Monthly Tasks:
- Conduct new hire orientations, including explaining health benefits options.
- Reconcile benefit invoices to ensure accuracy and timely payments.
- Monitor and update employee benefit plan documents and communications as needed.
- Yearly Tasks:
- Lead the annual open enrollment process, including communication, coordination with providers, and enrollment system updates.
- Evaluate current benefit offerings and suggest improvements or changes based on employee feedback and industry trends.
- Prepare and distribute compliance documents such as Summary Plan Descriptions (SPD) and Affordable Care Act (ACA) reporting.
- Maintain accurate benefits records and ensure compliance with applicable regulations, such as COBRA, HIPAA, and ERISA.
Technical Engineering Recruitment - Daily Tasks:
- Source and screen candidates for technical engineering roles through online platforms, industry networks, and referrals.
- Build relationships with prospective candidates and maintain a talent pipeline.
- Schedule and conduct initial interviews to assess qualifications and cultural fit.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand role requirements and provide regular updates on recruitment progress.
- Monthly Tasks:
- Develop and implement targeted recruitment strategies for technical engineering roles.
- Attend job fairs, industry conferences, and networking events to build a database of potential candidates.
- Analyze recruitment metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, candidate satisfaction) and recommend process improvements.
- Yearly Tasks:
- Conduct a review of recruitment processes and tools to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Organize and host employer branding events to attract top engineering talent.
- Benchmark hiring practices and compensation packages to remain competitive in the industry.
Employee Relations - Act as a point of contact for employees, addressing questions, concerns, and resolving workplace issues in a fair and timely manner.
- Investigate and resolve employee complaints, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
- Foster a positive work environment by supporting open communication and promoting a culture of respect and inclusion.
- Advise managers on employee relations matters, including disciplinary actions, conflict resolution, and performance improvement plans.
- Facilitate and document employee feedback sessions, exit interviews, and stay interviews to gather insights and enhance employee engagement.
- Provide coaching and guidance to employees and managers on workplace challenges and development opportunities.
Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in HR benefits administration and technical recruitment.
- Knowledge of health benefits programs and relevant compliance regulations (e.g., ACA, HIPAA).
- Experience in employee relations, benefits administration, or a combination of both.
- Proven ability to recruit technical professionals, ideally in the pharmaceutical or medical device manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HRIS platforms.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
