If you’ve answered yes to these questions, then DSI Systems Inc., a Dallas-based sales enablement and creative business solutions company, needs you on our award-winning creative team. We have an immediate career opportunity for a Graphic Designer/ Content Developer to assist our efforts in our national sales channel supporting some of the country’s most recognizable entertainment and communications brands. The qualified candidate will work directly with the DSI creative and training teams to create, develop, maintain, organize, evolve, and execute all forms of related custom-designed content and delivery vehicles for our national sales clients and our external/internal sales and training staff.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to excel at each essential function, which includes, but is not limited to:
Designing, developing, and delivering product and industry-related training materials, programs, and modules, for products and services including, but not limited to AT&T Internet, AT&T Wireless, and DIRECTV
Building and maintaining text-based and rich media sales & training content (PowerPoint, PDF videos, audio clips, animations, etc.), job aids, reference material, and other pertinent digital vehicles for learning optimization across all national partner associates and internal sales support audiences
Maintaining focus on materials and vehicles for the virtual training space
Ability to gain insight and formulate patterns within each selling partner to effectively bring unified design and messaging throughout our programs
Minimum 3 years of professional experience in graphic design and character illustration
Expertise with the tools used to create many forms of audience-driven content creation, design, and delivery, specifically Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, InDesign, and Microsoft PowerPoint .
Experience with the development and layout of marketing, training, or promotional pieces
An understanding of corporate branding with the ability to design within an established system of brand guidelines
Very strong typographic, composition, and color skills
A keen eye for designing materials for clear, concise virtual and classroom projection and hard-copy publishing. The qualified candidate should be able to create engaging, aesthetically pleasing, properly formatted, and animated PowerPoint content with quickness and ease.
Extraordinary attention to the details in content creation and language nuance for clear, dynamic, precise messaging
Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
Ability to translate information and feedback, develop insights, and work collaboratively
Ability to take constructive criticism and quickly channel it to build professional quality materials based on team and client input
Self-motivated – you don’t wait for someone to tell you what to do next
Ability to research on your own to develop content and designs for training, sales, and marketing materials
Highly organized. Able to work on and keep track of multiple projects for different stakeholders.
Project coordination skills and a willingness to assist the team with duties outside of your primary role when necessary
Experience with cloud-based content storage, organization, and file-sharing (ex. Dropbox)
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook); strong computer proficiency, web conferencing (ex. MS Teams, Zoom, WebEx, etc.).
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Art, Communications, or related field
