Your Role in Our Pack:

This is a part-time position in our Ankeny fulfillment center. A guaranteed 16 hours per week, Monday & Wednesday, and either Tuesday or Thursday on an as-needed basis. 

As a Fulfillment Specialist, you will be in charge of a variety of inventory, shipping & warehouse processes, as well as assisting with day-to-day operations. You will be the critical connection point of an international supply chain in connecting home/life saving products to furbabies and their pet parents all over the United States & Canada. You'll work with other awesome Pack members on our supply chain team working to ensure the creation & flow of products to reach happy pet parents and cuddly furbabies all over the United States & abroad, is accurate, smooth, & timely.

You'll pick product from our Ankeny FC both case packs, pallets, to individual units for ecommerce. You'll ensure accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency. You will be the bedrock to Pet Parents supporting the lives of furbabies and their pet parents all over the US. You will slay bottlenecks, ensure accuracy of all processes, anticipate potential problems & squash them, monitor data, spot trends, and take action for positive outcomes.

You will assist in all aspects of inventory management and work alongside other pack members in optimizing the inventory process as a whole. You will get exposure to & aid in various aspects of our company: supply planning, inventory management, process optimization, logistics, research, data collection, etc.

This role requires an uber-precise focus on understanding the ins-and-outs of order picking, packing, organization, planning, process improvement, inventory management, time & project management, written & verbal communication, troubleshooting, & analytical, technical, & problem-solving skills.

- You will execute, nurture, & help  optimize our supply chain & supply chain processes

- You will own, execute, optimize, & help coordinate the inflow & outflow of inventory & orders

- You will be a critical thinker and  hardworking pack member

- You will work in a  fast-paced environment with constant hands-on projects.

- Minimum 2 years of experience in a fulfillment role

- Minimum 2 years of experience in a logistics role

- Minimum 2 years of experience in a supply chain role

- Minimum 2 years of experience in an order picking role

- Minimum 2 years of experience in an order packing role

- Minimum 2 years of experience in an operations role

*Order picker and/or forklift experience required
