Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Food Safety Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing and maintaining our food safety programs, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards. The Food Safety Manager will play a crucial role in monitoring and improving our food safety practices to uphold the highest standards of quality and safety. 

COMPENSATION: The salary range for this position ranges from $68,640.00 to $70,000, depending on circumstances including an applicant’s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, prior job experience, market data, and other relevant factors. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). This is Aramark’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and Aramark reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time AND FOR ANY REASON, including, BUT NOT LIMITED TO for reasons related to individual performance, Aramark or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of Food and Beverage outlets to ensure compliance with food safety regulations and Aramark company standards. 
  • Implement, and maintain food safety policies and procedures in accordance with local, state, federal, and Aramark standards 
  • Provide training to employees on food safety practices, hygiene, and sanitation. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate and resolve food safety incidents or concerns.  
  • Monitor and analyze data related to food safety metrics and recommend corrective actions. 
  • Stay informed about changes in food safety regulations and industry best practices. 
  • Develop HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) plans. 
  • Participate in the development of product specifications to ensure food safety considerations are addressed. 
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement preventive measures to minimize food safety risks. 
  • Participate and/or in Safety, Environmental, and Sustainability initiatives within the park 
  • Other duties as assigned by management  
  • Supports pest management efforts by identifying sanitation and exclusion efforts in conjunction with the Pest Management specialist 

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in food safety, quality assurance, or a related role. 
  • SME for food safety regulations and industry standards. 
  • Certified Professional- Food Safety Credential 
  • HACCP Certification 
  • Servsafe Manager and Instructor Certified  
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • Excellent communication and training skills. 
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety. 
  • Understanding of HACCP principles and their application. 
  • Knowledge of foodborne pathogens, allergens, and contaminants. 
  • Familiarity with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures). 
  • Ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders. 
  • Proficient in using relevant software and tools for data analysis.
