Position: Remote Bookkeeper

We're looking for a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our dynamic team. As a key member, you'll play a crucial role in managing both our financial records and our clients' financial records, ensuring everything is accurate and in compliance with relevant regulations. Key Responsibilities:
- Record daily financial transactions and complete the posting process.
- Ensure transactions are accurately recorded in the appropriate daybooks, ledgers, and general ledger.
- Prepare monthly financial statements, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
- Reconcile bank statements to verify the accuracy of financial data.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable in a timely manner.
- Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting.
- Maintain well-organized and accurate financial filing systems.
- Provide support during audits and help ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations.
- Offer assistance during tax preparation and filing.

What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar financial role.
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and Google Suite.
- Expertise in creating QBO rules to manage repetitive entries efficiently.
- Ability to manage multiple companies' books, especially when related transactions and money movement occur.
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
- Ability to stay organized and meet tax preparation deadlines.
