Your Key Responsibilities
Creation and management of prototype manufacturing process plans
Define tooling needs and procure for all existing and new prototype projects
Define equipment needs and procure for future prototype projects
Support all phases of development and manufacturing of prototypes to ensure part quality and process capability is met
Coordinate with production and product development departments for proposed prototype product design and/or processing changes and improvements
Document prototype manufacturing and development summaries, process flow diagrams and improvements in technical report form
Drive process improvements within the prototype department and implement accompanying work instructions, process flow diagrams or procedural documents
Coordinate and follow through corrective action plans related to scrap reduction and customer complaint resolutions from beginning to end
Your Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in an engineering related field
3 to 5 years of experience
Manufacturing process knowledge
Ability to interpret print dimensions, specifications and GD&T
Extremely self-motivated and driven to achieve results
