The TRIO Educational Talent Search (ETS) program identifies and assists individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds who have the potential to succeed in higher education. This early intervention program helps low-income and first-generation youth better understand their educational opportunities and options. Program participants receive academic guidance and up-to-date information about admissions requirements, scholarships, and various student financial aid programs.

The TRIO ETS Program Coordinator plans, develops, and implements academic preparation services for 9th-12th grade students. As a seasoned, experienced professional in K-14 academic preparation, the TRIO ETS Program Coordinator is responsible for the planning, implementation, and day-to-day operations of TRIO services at their assigned school site. Additionally, they work closely with their supervisor to ensure program compliance with federal guidelines while meeting participant needs and achieving program objectives. Their responsibilities include:

• Developing ETS student-facing activities and services in alignment with the grant objectives of:

(1) Promoting secondary school persistence
(2) Increasing secondary school graduation rates (generally)
(3) Improving secondary school graduation rates with rigorous secondary school program of study (A-G completion)
(4) Supporting postsecondary education enrollment immediately following high school
(5) Completing a program of postsecondary education within six years

• Administering ETS program in compliance with U.S. Department of Education regulations and TRIO guidelines
• Maintaining accurate participant records, overseeing data collection, and supporting annual reporting requirements
• Collaborating with partner schools, community organizations, and other stakeholders to identify and recruit program participants
• Engaging in professional development activities to stay current on changing educational systems/policies

This position requires 100% on-site presence at a high school in the Antioch or Pittsburg Unified school district with occasional work at UCSF's Mission Center. Applicants must be available to work some evenings and weekends.

The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.

Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.

The salary range for this position is $65,600 - $98,400 (Annual Rate).
