Job Summary:
The Department of Psychology in the College of Humanities and Behavioral Sciences at Radford University invites applications at the associate or full professor level to serve as the founding director for a Master's program in Clinical Psychology. Starting in Fall 2025, this tenure-eligible position is nine-month with additional funding for summer months and administrative responsibilities. Salary is commensurate with experience. The successful candidate will lead the development and implementation of a new Master's program in Clinical Psychology that meets APA accreditation requirements and Virginia Board of Psychology requirements for preparing license-eligible graduates. Area of specialty is open.
The Psychology Department offers a large Bachelor's program, Master's programs with concentrations in Experimental and Industrial-Organizational Psychology, and Master's and Educational Specialist in School Psychology degrees. The Department of Psychology is housed within the College of Humanities and Behavioral Sciences ( CHBS ), which is the largest college at Radford University and home to liberal arts instruction on campus. CHBS and Psychology are housed in a 145,000 square foot modern instructional and research facility. Centrally located on the main quad of the campus, it houses many specialized teaching and research facilities.
