Job Description

Port is seeking a talented and motivated Content Marketing Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating engaging and impactful content that tells stories about platform engineering, and the people, process and technology changes it brings about, by making the developer experience better. A love of smart and snappy copy can be a great addition to the role. You will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive content marketing strategy that aligns with our business goals and enhances our online presence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a content marketing strategy to increase brand awareness, generate leads, and drive customer engagement.
  • Create high-quality, compelling content for various channels, including blog posts, articles, whitepapers, case studies, social media, email campaigns, and website content.
  • Conduct thorough research on industry-related topics to produce authoritative and informative content.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, sales, and design, to ensure consistent messaging and brand voice across all content.
  • Optimize content for SEO to improve organic search rankings and drive traffic to the website.
  • Manage content calendars and ensure timely delivery of all content projects.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in content marketing and the industry.

  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Strong understanding of content marketing principles and SEO best practices.
  • Proficient in using content management systems (CMS) and marketing automation tools.

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative thinker with a strategic mindset.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with graphic design and basic video editing.
  • Familiarity with social media advertising and PPC campaigns.
  • Relevant bachelor’s degree or journalism experience.
