About the Role
As a Construction/Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction project management, from budgeting and scheduling to procurement, quality control, and safety. You will collaborate with a diverse team, ensuring that each project meets or exceeds expectations, while supporting our commercial business operations. We have opportunities available in both General Contracting (GC) and Construction Management (CMa) roles across central, southeast, southwest, and north Florida.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee and manage all construction activities for assigned projects, working closely with the project team and division leaders to coordinate work and schedules.
Partner with site Superintendents to determine the most cost-effective construction methods and strategies, ensuring projects stay on schedule and within budget.
Foster and maintain strong client relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and continued business growth.
Review project drawings and specifications, ensuring compliance with plans and schedules, and monitor the progress of work.
Assist with job estimate preparation by interpreting bid documents.
Develop subcontracts and purchase orders as needed.
Track and manage project schedules, ensuring critical path requirements are met.
Manage submittal and RFI processes, ensuring all necessary information is reviewed and approved.
Collaborate with project teams to improve production efficiencies, reduce costs, and ensure financial success by actively managing project budgets.
Ensure safety compliance by monitoring and implementing corrective measures as required.
Maintain all project documentation and ensure timely submissions.
Make regular site visits to coordinate with site Superintendents and maintain project progress.
Be the primary point of contact for project Owners, Construction Managers, and project teams.
Attend coordination and project-specific meetings to keep everyone informed.
Assist in developing proposals and scope of work for clients, ensuring all necessary components are clearly defined.
Skills and Qualifications

Ability to read and understand construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and technical correspondence.
Strong experience with construction procurement and contract management.
Solid understanding of job estimates, drawings, and specifications.
Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple projects and teams.
Ability to maintain positive, collaborative relationships with internal teams and external partners.
Keen attention to detail and ability to adapt to changing requirements.
Ability to develop and implement alternative work methods when necessary.
Experience and Other Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field, or a minimum of 5 years of equivalent experience.
At least 5 years of project management experience in commercial construction.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and construction management software (e.g., Procore, Sage).
OSHA 10 or 30 certification (must be obtained within the first 60 days).
A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Willingness to travel throughout Florida, including occasional overnight trips.
Compensation and Benefits
This is a full-time hybrid position, offering a total compensation package ranging from $78,000 to $114,000, including an annual bonus. Base salary is dependent on experience and qualifications.
