We are currently looking to hire a seasoned Commercial Construction Superintendent to oversee and direct a range of our construction ventures.
Role Summary: We are in pursuit of a skilled Project Manager with extensive experience in commercial construction, especially in industrial areas. The ideal candidate will also have a background in data centers, life sciences, dining, retail, healthcare, and hospitality. Candidates should demonstrate exceptional leadership, keen attention to detail, and unwavering commitment to maintaining superior quality and safety practices.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage daily on-site activities for diverse commercial construction projects, including but not limited to industrial facilities, data centers, life sciences buildings, dining venues, retail spaces, healthcare establishments, and hotels.
* Organize and oversee subcontractors and construction teams to promote efficient operations.
* Ensure project completion aligns with schedules, budgets, and specified standards.
* Implement safety protocols and uphold compliance with all health and building codes.
* Perform regular site assessments and quickly remedy any issues that may arise.
* Collaborate seamlessly with project managers, architects, and design professionals throughout the construction lifecycle.
* Keep precise project records and provide ongoing progress reports to stakeholders.
* Address and resolve conflicts or issues that develop during the construction phases.
Qualifications:
* 2 to 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction, with a hands-on focus in industrial projects, data centers, life sciences, restaurants, retail, healthcare, or hospitality.
* Demonstrated history of effectively managing projects in these diverse areas.
* In-depth knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and industry benchmarks.
* Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
* Proficient in interpreting blueprints and construction documents.
* Familiarity with local building codes, health regulations, and safety protocols.
* Skilled in construction management software and tools.
