Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced and proven Color Matcher to join their R&D team. This would be a full-time, onsite position in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Responsibilities:

• Must pass color matching test – must see color and perform 4-square evaluation
• Conduct testing for all liquid cosmetic and OTC formulations for color, odor, appearance.
• Preparing batch for customer approval.
• Evaluate previous productions for deviations and color cuts to ensure current production is running smoothly and with minimal adjustments
• Provide color adjustments to manufacturing team for all batches found to be out of specification for color
• Provide pH, Viscosity, and specific gravity batch adjustments for batches that are found to be out of specification.
• Evaluate adjustments and propose and collaborate the updates with R&D team
• Comply with GMPs throughout entire shift.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 4 years of hands-on color matching experience with cosmetics, personal care and OTC products.
• Must pass color matching test
• Proven experience and knowledge of GMPs
• Ability to lead projects through completion.
