Title: Civil Engineer Project Manager, PE ( Public Infrastructure / Land Development )
Office Locations: San Mateo, CA 94401; Oakland, CA 94607; and San Francisco, CA 94134 (Candidates have the option of being based out of any of our Bay Area office locations) Remote based work is also available
Award-winning consulting civil engineering firm with offices in San Francisco, San Mateo, and Oakland actively seeks Civil Engineer Project Manager, PE to provide technical leadership to a team of civil engineers directly supporting our public works clients.
Ideal Civil Engineer Project Manager, PE Qualifications include but are not limited to:
- 8+ years of experience in utility engineering design and construction
- Minimum B.S. in Civil Engineering or related field
- Proficient working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D
- California P.E. license in Civil Engineering
- Engineering experience in a variety of civil engineering infrastructure projects (Water Utilities such as Wet Utilities Systems, Sanitary Sewers, Storm Drains, Potable Water Systems, Recycled Water, Water/Wastewater Treatment Plants, Pump Stations, Water Pipelines, etc.)
- Proficient in in use of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to plan, organize, and execute multiple tasks
- Excellent organizational and overall communication skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects at one time
In This Position, The Qualified Individual Will Be Called Upon to Complete the Following Tasks:
- Provide technical oversight over the preparation of plans, specifications, and opinions of probable cost for potable water, storm drain, recycled water, and sanitary sewer infrastructure including pipelines and pump stations.
- Provide technical oversight over the preparation of utility master plans including hydraulic modeling, risk evaluations, design criteria development, and other technical tasks required by the utility owner.
- Provide project management services including contract management, billings, client management, and staff planning.

- Construction management including contract administration, inspection, constructability reviews, costs analysis, and claims management.
