Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly competent Senior .NET Developer with a strong foundation in ASP.NET, C#, and SQL, who also brings practical experience in software testing and QA practices. This role is ideal for a developer who enjoys building test and QA-focused applications and understands the importance of software quality at every step of the development cycle.
You will be responsible for developing internal tools and platforms used in the testing process, as well as contributing directly to the design and execution of testing strategies. This hybrid role bridges development and quality assurance, making it perfect for someone who thrives in a quality-driven engineering culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop applications and tools used for testing and quality assurance processes using the .NET technology stack.
Collaborate with QA engineers and automation testers to develop test frameworks and utilities.
Write high-quality, scalable, and testable code using C#, ASP.NET, and SQL Server.
Develop backend logic and scripts to support automated and manual testing efforts.
Support test planning by identifying test scenarios, data requirements, and automation opportunities.
Create, run, and maintain unit, integration, and automated tests.
Participate in code reviews, test case reviews, and requirement analysis sessions.
Assist QA teams with debugging, issue reproduction, and troubleshooting.
Work closely with DevOps to support CI/CD pipelines, ensuring smooth testing and deployment workflows.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
10+ years of professional experience in .NET development (C#, ASP.NET).
Strong proficiency in SQL writing queries, debugging data issues, creating and managing test data.
Hands-on experience building or supporting test/QA applications, automation tools, or internal QA platforms.
Solid understanding of testing methodologies (manual and automated), SDLC, and defect life cycle.
Experience writing and maintaining automated tests using tools like NUnit, MSTest, Selenium, or similar.
Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jenkins).
Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Good communication skills with a collaborative mindset
