We are looking for a meticulous and experienced Bookkeeper to join our team and support key financial operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and bookkeeping, particularly in environments that require inventory tracking.

Schedule:

- Full-time: 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM CST

Key Responsibilities:

- Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process invoices, handle payments, and maintain customer and vendor accounts to ensure smooth transactions.
- Payroll: Oversee payroll processing for all employees, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
- Reconciliations: Perform regular reconciliations to maintain accuracy in financial records.
- Financial Statements: Prepare and generate balance sheets, income statements, and other important financial reports.
- Sales Tax Reporting: Manage monthly and quarterly sales tax preparations to ensure compliance.
- Software Management: Use QuickBooks Desktop and Excel for daily accounting tasks. Experience with Xero is a plus, and training will be provided.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping, with a focus on inventory tracking.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop and Excel. Familiarity with Xero is an advantage, but training will be offered.
- Education: A background in accounting, bookkeeping, or a related field is preferred.
- Certifications: QuickBooks certification or Certified Bookkeeper (CB) certification is a plus but not required.
