Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team! In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of our daily accounting tasks. Your responsibilities will include maintaining financial records, preparing reports, reconciling bank statements, and processing business transactions using QuickBooks Online and Desktop. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organizational skills and a passion for numbers.

As a Bookkeeper, you will be crucial to the accuracy and efficiency of our financial processes, including managing accounts payable and receivable, expense vouchers, and receipts. Responsibilities:

- Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting team.
- Accurately prepare and maintain accounting documents and records.
- Manage bank deposits, general ledger postings, and statements.
- Reconcile accounts in a timely manner.
- Enter financial transactions into the database on a daily basis.
- Assist company personnel with financial inquiries and support.
- Research, track, and resolve any accounting discrepancies or issues.
- Compile and present activity reports and summaries to management.
- Adhere to established standards, procedures, and relevant laws.
- Stay updated on the latest accounting practices and knowledge.


Experience and Qualifications:

- Proven experience in accounting, preferably as an Accounts Receivable Clerk or Accounts Payable Clerk.
- Familiarity with basic bookkeeping and accounting principles.
- Proficiency in MS Office, databases, and QuickBooks Online.
- Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial reporting.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong aptitude for numbers and data management.
- Ability to perform filing, record-keeping, and data entry tasks.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- High school diploma required; an associate's degree or relevant certification is a plus.
