Bookkeeper

Seahawk, a premier WordPress development firm headquartered in the US, boasts a global clientele and is renowned for its excellence. As we continue to expand at a rapid pace, we are actively seeking dynamic and enthusiastic individuals to join our Finance team and play a pivotal role in driving the company’s growth.

This is a very crucial role which requires the ability to excel in a team environment, juggle multiple deadlines and project teams. We are looking for a proficient Bookkeeper well versed with Quickbooks to assist us in managing our day to day accounting and finance requirements.

The ideal candidate should be multi-tasking, must be reliable and committed to meet deadlines. Confidentiality and excellent organizational skills are important qualifications.

The Role

• Maintain an accurate record of all financial transactions.
• Update and maintain the general ledger.
• Reconciliation of entries into the accounting system.
• Maintain the trial balance, by a reconciliation of general ledgers.
• Account reconciliation to assert the accuracy of transactions.
• Monitor any variances from the projected budget.
• Develop monthly financial statements and balance sheets.
• Use knowledge of various laws to comply with reporting requirements.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of Accounting
• Knowledge of Quickbooks is a must
• Understanding accounting best practices
• Knowledge of IFRS U.S GAAP, or another accounting framework
• Data entry skills
• High attention to detail
• Proficient in MS Excel
• Produce work with a high level of accuracy
• Professionalism and organization skills
• Associates degree or at least three year of experience
