Job Description

Looking for a dedicated Beauty Instructor to join Leaders of Tomorrow Youth Center in Baltimore, MD, US. Our team at LTYC is committed to inspiring and empowering young minds through our Afterschool Program. Responsibilities entail imparting beauty techniques, nurturing creativity, and encouraging students to discover their talents. At LTYC, we aim to cultivate a supportive setting where every student can thrive. Compensation offered for this role ranges from $22 to $25 per hour. Create engaging lesson plans for beauty-related topics to educate and inspire students.
Implement effective classroom management techniques to ensure a positive and safe learning environment.
Provide hands-on demonstrations and guidance for students to practice beauty techniques and skills.
Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their learning and development.
Collaborate with the program team to enhance the overall educational experience for students in the afterschool program.

Qualifications:

2+ years of experience in the beauty industry, specifically in hair, makeup, and skincare.
Knowledgeable in lesson planning for beauty-related subjects.
Ability to effectively manage a classroom of students in an afterschool program setting.
US Work Authorization.
Proficient in verbal and written communication skills for teaching beauty techniques.
