Role Description
This opportunity in the beautiful city of Charleston, SC is for a Summer 2025 Backend Software Engineering Internship that requires on-site presence full-time. This role involves working on some of the coolest parts of our stack: our Python cloud applications, ETL at scale, databases, APIs, and more. You will work with an extremely talented team of engineers from various backgrounds working to fix global supply chains.
Requirements
Python is your favorite programming language.
Familiar with cloud-based application design and deployment in AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or Azure.
Nice to have
Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Pulumi, AWS CDK, etc.)
Understanding of API frameworks (like Flask, FastAPI, Djangjo, etc.)
Bonus
Have worked with Celery, RabbitMQ, or ActiveMQ.
CICD/DevOps: GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps pipelines, or similar DevOps technologies.
SQLAlchemy + MySQL.
Web automation experience, including Selenium or Playwright.
