Job Description and Duties

Under the general direction of the Chief Counsel and Attorney IV, the incumbent Attorney in the Legal Administration division generally provides legal services to the Board and Board staff with respect to assigned subject matter areas, performing legal work of average difficulty, including, but not limited to: conduct research; draft opinions; answer oral and written inquiries from the staff, the Board, other governmental entities, and the public; appear at hearings of the Board, including representation of Board staff tax cases; consult with and offer legal advice to the staff and management as required.

Working Conditions

  • Telework is available fifty percent (50%) of the time.
  • Standard office environment.
  • Requires being in a stationary position, consistent with office work, for extended periods of time.
