After School Teachers | Columbia & Blythewood
The Sunshine House Early Learning Academy is seeking After-School Childcare Teachers for our schools throughout Columbia and Blythewood. We are hiring immediately.

No nights! No weekends! And make a difference every day.

Pay rate of $14-$18 per hour, based on experience, education and credentials.

• Sunshine House of Blythewood

Childcare Teaching Opportunities:

• School-Age Childcare Teacher full-time and part-time hours available

Teacher Responsibilities:

• Implement our award-winning curriculum in a way that meets each child's unique learning style.
• Foster relationships with children and provide a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
• Document and share with families the important milestones in a child’s day using our app.
• Encourage and model social behavior and expectations which are developmentally appropriate.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• ECD 101, CDA, or degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
• 30 days of paid teaching experience in a DSS licensed daycare center required.
• Ability/willingness to drive a small bus preferred.
