Job Title: Accounting Assistant
Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Accounting Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cash applications, vendor billing uploads, processing vendor credit applications, and applying all check and electronic deposits. Additionally, this role will assist with collections, help with cash application, work with internal personnel to create invoices to apply payments, and monitor other AR functions, acting as a backup when necessary.

Essential Skills - Experience with invoices, accounting, collections, cash applications, accounts receivable, and data entry
- Proficient in Excel and PeopleSoft
- 1+ years of accounting experience
- Analytical experience in AP or AR is acceptable
Additional Skills & Qualifications - New graduates are welcome to apply
- Heavier consideration for experience with cash applications
Work Environment
The position is based in a large office environment with cubicles, housing a 60-person accounting team. The initial training period requires full-time office presence for 2-3 weeks, after which the employee can work from home on Fridays. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00
